Shipping policy
At Lumina Apothecary, each order is handcrafted and carefully packed to ensure your items arrive safely and beautifully. Please review our shipping details below before placing your order.
Processing Time
All orders are processed within 3–5 business days (Monday through Friday), unless otherwise stated during product launches or peak seasons.
Because our products are made in small batches, occasional processing delays may occur — but we’ll always notify you by email if that happens.
Shipping Schedule
To protect the integrity of our products (especially wax melts and diffusers during warmer months), we ship orders Monday through Wednesday only.
This ensures your package is not left sitting in transit or shipping facilities over the weekend.
Shipping Carrier
All orders are shipped via USPS. Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your location and package weight.
At this time, we only ship within the United States and do not offer international shipping.
Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear after you receive your shipping confirmation.
Shipping Delays
Delivery times provided by USPS are estimates only and may vary depending on carrier volume, weather, or other unforeseen factors.
While we do everything possible to ensure timely delivery, Lumina Apothecary cannot guarantee shipping times once the package is in the carrier’s possession.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
Once your order has been handed over to USPS, title and risk of loss transfer to you. Lumina Apothecary is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged in transit.
If your package arrives damaged, please email contact@luminaapothecary.com within 15 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage so we can assist you.
Summer Weather Notice
Wax-based products may soften or melt during shipping in hot weather. To help prevent this, we only ship orders Monday through Wednesday and use heat-resistant packaging materials to protect your items during transit.
Please bring your package indoors promptly upon delivery to avoid exposure to outdoor heat.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. We cannot refund or replace orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
